Take the 2006 Jeep 4x4 Geocaching Challenge!

This year’s Jeep 4X4 Geocaching Challenge features new challenges, new 2006 Jeep Travel Bugs, and an opportunity to win an all-new 2007 Jeep Compass. It's freedom in a whole new dimension!

What is Geocaching?

Geocaching is an entertaining outdoor adventure where you use your GPS, or map, to search for hidden containers, called geocaches, that are hidden around the world by other participants in the activity. For more information about geocaching, visit the “Getting Started” section on www.Geocaching.com and be sure to bookmark the page for future reference!

What is 2006 Jeep Travel Bug?

This year, it’s a green die-cast Jeep Rescue Concept vehicle with an official metal tag attached. Jeep is enlisting geocachers nationwide to hide approximately 5,500 Jeep Travel Bugs in caches located in the lower 48 states. Find one and the adventure begins!

And when you find a green 2006 Jeep Rescue Concept Travel Bug, enter the unique tracking number into the Jeep Geocaching site at www.Jeep.Geocaching.com to log its movements in the real world. Then move it to the next cache you find so others can help it on its journey.

Enter the Jeep Geocaching 2006 Sweepstakes for your chance to win! From August 1st to December 31st, 2006, you will have the opportunity to win an all-new 2007 Jeep Compass.

It's freedom is a whole new dimension!

One Grand-Prize Jeep Compass vehicle will be awarded in a drawing taking place on or around January 15, 2007.
